We first changed to Imperial Car Rental – Europcar and in June 2009, to the single, synergised brand of Europcar. All of these steps have helped us accelerate our move from being a national player to a global player. Even after all the changes, we remain 100% owned by IMPERIAL, will always be a fiercely proud South African organisation and a continued sponsor of the Proudly South African initiative.

Becoming a part of Europcar International brought about new opportunities such as global reach, global kiosk design, best practice policies and processes, as well as environmental opportunities and developments. It also presented our customers with instant rental access to a global fleet of over 220 000 vehicles at over 3000 locations in over 160 countries. Our local fleet peaks at of over 16 000 vehicles in 120 locations across Southern Africa.
